STUDIO RULES
To ensure a smooth and productive experience, all clients and crew must adhere to the following house rules:
GENERAL RULES
Your hire is limited to the designated space booked. Access to the other areas will not be permitted without prior consent.
Don’t store items on the corridors.
Keep noise levels reasonable to avoid disrupting other users.
Return all furniture, props, and equipment to their original spots.
All costs of professional repairs for any scratches or damages to floors, walls, worktops, cabinets, furniture, props, equipment or anything else belonging to Clapham Studios LTD/ Kitchen studio hire caused by the client to be covered by the client.
Large waste items must be removed by the client; leftover large rubbish incurs a disposal charge per item as advertised in the rate card.
CLEANING & WASTE DISPOSAL
Place any used dish ware in the dishwasher or wash them in the sink.
Dispose of waste in the correct recycling or general waste bins.
If excessive cleaning is required, a professional cleaning fee as shown on the rate card will be charged.
MUSIC & AUDIO
Our Sonos system is available for use—please keep volume at a reasonable level.
KITCHEN USE
Protect countertops by avoiding direct contact with heat, excessive weight, contact with sharp objects or products which can stain the worktop (ie curry powder).
The kitchen island is on wheels—DO NOT climb on it under any circumstance.
All equipment, surfaces, and props must be cleaned after use and returned to their original positions.
Cooking high-smoke foods? Inform us in advance to prevent fire alarms setting off.
PARKING & DELIVERIES
Free on-site parking is available—please inform us in advance for larger vehicles.
Deliveries must arrive during your hire period; early or late deliveries will incur an overtime charge charged in hourly increments.
Do not allow unknown individuals into the space. Only listed persons on the call sheet/booking form are permitted.
CCTV is in operation throughout the studio and building.
SMOKING & PETS
No smoking or vaping indoors.
Pets are welcome but must be pre-approved.
SAFETY & LIABILITY
You are responsible for the safety of all team members and guests during your hire.
In case of a fire alarm, evacuate immediately via designated exits.
If leaving equipment overnight, notify us in advance and switch off all items.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
Clapham Studios Ltd/ Kitchen studio hire shall not be liable for:
Any loss or damage to the client’s property or equipment.
Equipment failures or stoppages.
Any injuries occurring on the premises, except in cases of negligence by Clapham Studios Ltd/ Kitchen studio hire.
Any fines or legal costs incurred during the hire period.
Circumstances beyond the control of Clapham Studios Ltd/ Kitchen studio hire.
TERMINATION
Clapham Studios Ltd/ Kitchen studio hire reserves the right to terminate a hire contract immediately if the client breaches any of the terms and conditions. Charges incurred will still be invoiced.
